In the 2D Mortal Kombat games, juggling refers to keeping your opponent in the air with repeated attacks or with containment moves. Because the 2D MK games have a tendency to allow players to block if they are touching the ground, the surest way to do a lot of damage in one unblockable string of attacks is to juggle your opponent, not letting them touch the ground.
