Mortal Kombat Gold was an updated version of Mortal Kombat 4 that was only released for the Sega Dreamcast. The game was released shortly before the Dreamcast was launched.

Differences from Mortal Kombat 4

  • Baraka, Cyrax, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Noob Saibot are playable characters. Noob Saibot was a playable character in various home versions of MK4 but not in the arcade.

Gameplay

This game uses the same gameplay engine as Mortal Kombat 4.
